Anomalie bride, Alexandria, had something very unique in mind before she even started wedding dress shopping and she was committed to not settling on a dress that wasn’t 100% her style. Alexandria stumbled across the Anomalie website during her wedding dress research and made the quick decision to partner with Anomalie to design a one-of-a-kind gown custom-made for her fall wedding in Illinois. Here’s her story!

I chose Anomalie because I wanted a unique wedding dress. Our wedding was planned to have a different twist – from our historic, artsy venue to our personally, vintage-style crafted ceremony – and I knew my dress was no exception. Pops of color from the blush fabric and bold blue lace appliques were a must to match the ceremony decor!

While I was designing my dress, I thought that all the expensive touches would add up – specially-sourced blue lace, 3D appliqués, a keyhole in the back, and ruching at the shoulders, just to name a few of the custom details. When I received my price quote, I couldn’t believe the dress I designed, which would have usually cost a fortune, was priced at such an affordable price!

My advice to future brides is to trust the Anomalie process and you’ll end up with a dress you will love! My stylist answered all my questions, helped with all the technical details, and gave me expert recommendations to fill in my design gaps.
