Liza Dunning, a San Francisco bride, worked with Anomalie as her custom made silk crepe wedding dress to life. After trying on dress after dress in the boutiques, she was convinced she wouldn’t be able to find the perfect wedding dress that incorporated everything she wanted into one style. Liza sits down with Kristi, her stylist, to dive a little deeper on her decision to go custom and talks with Bre, the Anomalie post-production manager, about what happens once an Anomalie bride receives her dress.

Liza uploaded multiple inspirations photos to highlight the design details she wanted to include in her final wedding dress.
Key design elements included:
- Cowlneck for the front
- A low, wide U-shape for the back
- Touches of lace along the straps
- Ruched detail along the backside zipper
- Court-length train
Throughout the custom wedding dress creation process. Liza received updates on the progress of her dress through her dashboard on the workshop page. By providing her feedback on the comments of each photo, it ensured Liza and her stylist were on the same page throughout the entire process.
Liza and her husband, Andrew planned a city escape from San Francisco to Big Sur, where they tied the knot under the rays of the golden hour sunset.
A big thank you to Liza’s photographers from Our Labor of Love for sharing their wonderful photos from Liza and Andrew’s wedding day.
